Unveiling Mystical Realms: Embrace the Enchantment with these Spellbinding Podcasts

During my spiritual journey, podcasts have emerged as a wondrous portal to explore the arcane and the esoteric. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner, a curious seeker, or simply drawn to the enigmatic allure of the metaphysical, these carefully curated podcasts will transport you on an enchanting journey through the sacred and the spiritual.

If you find yourself captivated by the realms of magic, witchcraft, tarot, and astrology, then these ten bewitching podcasts are destined to become your mystical companions.

1. Between the Worlds

“Between the Worlds” is a captivating podcast that effortlessly weaves together elements of pyscholoy, mythology, pop culture, witchcraft, magic, art and history with host Amanda Yates Garcia (aka Oracle of Los Angeles) and special guests.

This was one of my first podcasts that I listened to when I started on my spiritual journey and with Amanda’s a warm and inviting tone, making it easy to delve into the fascinating realm of the unexplained. Each episode explores a different topic, ranging from ancient myth to in-depth exploration of the major and minor orcana.

One of the standout features of “Between the Worlds” is its ability to maintain a balanced approach. While it delves into the eerie and inexplicable, it also offers rational perspectives, encouraging critical thinking and healthy skepticism. This balance between the mystical and the logical prevents the podcast from slipping into mere sensationalism, ensuring that even skeptical listeners can appreciate its content.

Amanda Yates Garcia also authored the fantastic book,  Initiated: Memoir of a Witch which I highly recommend to all those on their quest for self-discovery and empowerment through modern witchcraft.

2. Witch – BBC 4

The “Witch” podcast from BBC Radio 4 is an enchanting exploration of witchcraft, folklore, and its enduring impact on society. This podcast gem delivers an immersive experience, enlightening listeners with historical insights, personal stories, and expert interviews that will leave them bewitched and eager for more.

Hosted by India Rakusen, each episode of the Witch podcast delves into a different aspect of witchcraft, spanning various cultures and time periods. The storytelling is impeccable, transporting listeners through time to witness the witch trials of centuries past, ancient pagan practices, and the resurgence of modern-day witchcraft movements.

As an avid consumer of podcasts, I found the “Witch” to be a standout show in its genre. It captivated my imagination and broadened my understanding of witchcraft’s cultural significance. My only desire is for further releases as this shows appears to be a 13-part one off mini-series.

3. The Corporate Coven

“The Corporate Coven” podcast, presented by @thatwitchfromwork, offers a delightful and unique twist on navigating the corporate world while embracing one’s witchy side. Blending humor, witchcraft, and valuable career insights, this podcast stands out as a refreshing and entertaining listen for both seasoned professionals and budding witches alike.

Hosted by the charismatic Jessica Munson, each episode takes listeners on a whimsical journey through the trials and tribulations of balancing the demands of corporate life with the desire to make your career magical. I particularly enjoy the ‘Staff Meeting’ episodes which dive into the astrological break-down of that week.

Brook and Liz are the sisters that I never knew that I needed. I have been enjoying the limited series ‘Below the Belt – All The Shit Your Mom Didn’t Tell You’. Although this episode focuses on gynaecological matters, it was a refreshing that the hosts were so open and honest about their experiences.

“Saturn Returns with Caggie” is a thought-provoking podcast that skillfully explores the profound impact of the astrological phenomenon known as “Saturn Return.” Hosted by the insightful and empathetic Caggie Dunlop, each episode delves into personal journeys and transformative experiences during this cosmic rite of passage.

The podcast’s premise centers around the concept of Saturn Return, a period that occurs approximately every 29 years when the planet Saturn returns to the same position it occupied at an individual’s birth. Caggie adeptly navigates this celestial theme by sharing her own experiences and engaging in candid conversations with a diverse array of guests.

The themes explored, such as self-discovery, personal growth, and embracing change, are universally relatable, making the podcast relevant to listeners of all ages and backgrounds.

At the beginning of this year, Caggie Dunlop released her book: Saturn Returns: Your Cosmic Coming of Age. (I believe that book wish list is getting rather long now.)

Hosted by a dynamic and enlightened individual, each episode is a transformative journey that celebrates the unique spiritual experiences of women and highlights the intersectionality of feminism and mysticism.

What sets this podcast apart is its unapologetic focus on women’s empowerment, embracing diverse perspectives, and dismantling patriarchal constructs within spirituality. The host fearlessly tackles challenging topics, addressing issues such as reclaiming feminine power, embracing goddess archetypes.

One of my most listened to episodes recently is the Yoga Nidra: Summer Solstice. If you have read my previous article, then you will know that I am currently exploring the practice of Yoga Nidra.
